SYNOPSIS:
Inspired by the era of television do-it-yourself arts and crafts programmes, this playshop invites visitors to use recyclables, household rubbish and plaster to engage with your own playful creativity and make a sculpture to join the playscape of other plaster creations. Decay-Playshop celebrates the hundreds of toys made and forgotten about, taking them out of the shadows and giving them some new friends. From those new to the world of sticky tape and cereal box creations, to the paper mache master - all are welcome to come and add their creation to the land of forgotten toys. These creations will then be displayed as part of the main exhibition. Free, book via Eventbrite.
