This new and exciting pop-up venue will provide the community of Bolton with a snapshot of the creative abilities of the tutors, technicians and students at the School of the Arts. Tutors and technicians are all artists in their own right and exhibit widely both nationally and internationally, but this is the first time their work will be on show to the public in such a visible location.
Art works of different genres will be displayed in the wooden framed windows of the lovely Victorian shops arranged around the outside of the Market Place Shopping Centre Bolton. This busy retail, leisure and entertainment venue will provide a constant stream of people passing the windows and having the opportunity to see the range and quality of the creative skills that exist in Bolton School of the Arts.
This will be the second group show the School of the Arts has mounted in the last six months, the first of which was a highly successful Commemorative Exhibition in the Museum Temporary Art Gallery in 2018 celebrating the School’s 150-year history.
